The Philadelphia 76ers will be without Joel Embiid for their final regular-season games.
Embiid has endured a difficult campaign and has struggled with injuries, and is now to undergo surgery for a lingering left knee issue.
The 31-year-old will be evaluated in six weeks, meaning he will miss the last games of the Sixers' season.
Philadelphia have had a dismal season and are 13th in the Eastern Conference with a 23-53 record. They have already been eliminated from playoff contention.
