Phallon Tullis-Joyce says Manchester United "want to keep making history" after signing a new three-year deal with the club.

Tullis-Joyce initially joined United in September 2023 and has put pen to paper on a new contract that will keep her there until June 2028.

She made just four appearances in her first season, all in the Women's League Cup. However, following Mary Earps' departure at the end of last season, she became United's first-choice goalkeeper and has excelled this season.

She has kept a league-high 13 clean sheets and conceded just nine goals in the WSL, the fewest in the competition.

Tullis-Joyce has faced 59 shots on target, and according to Opta's expected goals on target (xGoT) model, she has prevented 7.2 goals.

The United States international, who earned her first international cap last month, has also made the joint-most punches (13, level with Kinga Szemik) and the second-most clearances (27) in the WSL.

"I am really grateful to have this opportunity to continue the exciting journey we are on," Tullis-Joyce told the club's media channels.

"All of us in the team have ever-growing dreams of what we can achieve together.

"We want to keep making history, and I am so proud to keep wearing the Manchester United badge."

United sit third in the WSL as they chase Champions League qualification and are also through to the FA Cup final for the second consecutive year, with Chelsea standing in the way of their title defence.
